Structured Products Development Manager Lead a team of cross functional developers (C#, Java, C/C++) in implementing regulatory and compliance driven changes to the entire stack, as well as internally driven technology upgrades. Coordinate with internal business sponsors clarify new compliance and regulatory requirements. Work with the developers to understand the complexity of the changes and provide accurate work effort estimates to the business. Liaise with internal architecture teams to have a clear view of technology standards, upgrade schedules, and road maps. Use this information to schedule developer and infrastructure work to make sure that we meet deadlines and the entire stack is using approved technology. Work with the developers to plan sprints, and break down work into manageable tasks. Assist with design discussion and code reviews to maintain high code quality and standards.
Senior developer on the Velocity UI Framework. The framework was designed to be an highly customizable and extensible to enable different business units to build business functionality on top of it while writing the least amount code possible. It provided communications frameworks for HTTP, and industry specific messaging buses. We provided flexible UI components including grids, editors, chart, and heatmaps. As teams provided feedback, I would analyze it, and plan changes to to the framework, or consult with the team on the best way to implement the feature with out requiring large code changes,
