With 40 years of experience as a professional communicator, I have been challenged many times to name an industry or a discipline that I have not encountered. The list is short. In recent years, I have served as a communications advisor to the most senior leaders in the public and private sectors, working at the nexus of government and business. In addition to strategy development, this has included project delivery, team management, media and presentation training. Currently, I am managing a portfolio of client work, including retainers and project work with two of the world's largest communications holding companies, Folgate Advisors, Elaqat PR & Communications (Saudi Arabia), ministries across the Middle East, and private sector clients in a diverse constellation of sectors, including finance, economic development, energy, minerals and healthcare. What sets me apart from many other experienced communicators is that I have led, delivered and lived in locations in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, China and the Middle East. I also have spent roughly one-third of my career as a client, which adds a layer of understanding to the counsel I offer.
