I have established multi-stakeholder strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and sales channels across multiple sectors, including energy, technology, government, telecom, utilities, agriculture, nonprofits, and investors. I have advised more than 200 global technology companies, investment funds, and organizations on capital markets, structuring operations, and how to accelerate sustainable growth. My background includes leading cross-functional teams of on complex multi-million-dollar initiatives, sourcing more than $750M for ClimateTech companies and clean energy projects, and guiding institutions through major regulatory changes. As a collaborative, strategic thinker and strong communicator, I build diverse, high-performing, cross-functional teams that drive transformative partnerships and long-term organizational impact.
Strategic Ventures (SV) invests in and develops early-stage companies in the “impact” sector. SV builds and executes finance strategy, supports raising capital, and develops and executes go-to-market strategy for portfolio client companies. I support new client business development and work to expand and strengthen the firm’s relationships with impact investors and institutions. As needed, I assess and assist the current portfolio companies and advise them on capital strategy, business plan development, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and go-to-market strategy.
Adjunct Professor at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Taught more than 100 students about the ClimateTech sector, Energy, and Entrepreneurship. Teach Entrepreneurship for the Clean Start Program in the Certificate in Clean Energy in conjunction with the Urban Future Lab. Developed curriculum for NYU’s first Advanced Energy Finance Diploma Program; Created CleanTech Finance course.
Led the finance team of the MCEC, a Statewide Energy Financing Institution and corporate instrumentality of the State of Maryland to develop of a statewide clean infrastructure bank to accelerate Maryland’s clean energy transition. Responsible for strategy development and implementation via new products and programs that would exponentially increase the impact of MCEC’s deployed capital and reserves through partnerships with private capital as well as federal, state & local funds.
Lead the US subsidiary of Abound Energy (CSE:ABND), a Long Duration Energy Storage technology company. Responsible for solidifying and expanding US operations while generating sales & revenue growth in the US Energy Storage Market. Develop world-class manufacturing capacity that can serve multiple partner companies developing innovative CleanTech hardware as well as Abound Energy’s Zaeras™ products when once those begin commercial production.
Advise CEO, Board of Directors & Senior Executives on Entering US & New York markets; Capital Markets strategy. Advise on US expansion to establish NY operations for manufacturing, assembly, and business development.
