I'm driven by a relentless curiosity and a daily desire to make meaningful impact. I believe technology should simplify our lives—seamlessly integrated, almost invisible. When used right, it doesn't feel technical at all—it just works. That's the standard I hold myself and my teams to. I've led agile teams, scaled engineering organizations, crafted product strategies, and built data-driven business plans—all under the broad umbrella of "Engineering Leader." But my work goes far beyond engineering. I build innovative, customer-centric products that deliver measurable value at scale. I cultivate high-trust cultures where people grow, teams thrive, and bold ideas turn into breakthrough solutions. I'm a goal-oriented, budget-conscious, data-driven leader. Ambitious and hands-on, I thrive in complexity—seeking out big, messy problems and transforming them into strategic wins. I challenge norms, ask the tough questions, and push past boundaries to deliver results that matter. Looking for your next visionary product and technology leader? Let's talk.

As the Senior Director of Core Engineering I am responsible for the SugarCRM Enterprise and Professional platforms and several flagship products built upon it, such as the Sugar Sell, Sugar Serve, and Sugar Mobile solutions. Making our products more secure, more performant, more modular, less monolithic, and easier both to develop on and maintain, I've worked on almost all areas of SugarCRM. As a result I am able to put the core Engineering organization in a position to rapidly deliver new solutions for our cloud and on-premise customers. Applying a behavior driven approach to designing business solutions, I targeted the Customer Service industry in Sugar Serve, a product that set a new bar for how CS is represented in the CRM landscape, and positioned Sugar to take on the even larger market of Sales Force Automation. Leading Sugar Sell, we delivered easy-to-digest world-class seller solutions designed to make sales staff more efficient through automation, visualization, and targeted data delivery. With an emphasis on security and performance, we are building a scalable, highly available core platform upon which enterprise solutions can be built, supplying the needs of the entire core engineering organization, as well as partners, vendors, and integrators, with a platform that allows for limitless extendibility. And it doesn't stop there. Managing a global team of developers to align the Sugar Mobile product with solutions like Sugar Sell and Sugar Serve, we ensure continued delivery of a truly intuitive, elegant mobile product. Finally, as a leader of people I often assist with growth and development of personnel. One of my proudest accomplishments is the Junior Engineer and Engineering Intern programs at Sugar. I plan recruitment efforts and campus visits, and coordinate panel interviews of candidates. Lastly, I mentor less experienced talent and provide coaching to future leaders, empowering Sugar staff through compassionate leadership, trust, and respect.
