As a Co-Founder at Harmony Heights Music Academy, I am committed to cultivating an immersive, dynamic, and comprehensive music education experience. Leveraging my extensive background in jazz, rock, and blues, and in collaboration with my partner's expertise in classical and voice coaching, we aim to create a transformative space for aspiring musicians. Our curriculum embraces an eclectic array of music genres, including Jazz, Classical, Rock, Blues, and beyond, making music learning both intensive and expansive. We are proud to introduce innovative programs like BroadwayBound! that equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive on the Broadway stage. At Harmony Heights Music Academy, we prioritize personalizing learning paths that resonate with individual student goals, aspirations, and preferences. Moreover, we are introducing a mobile learning concept, taking high-quality music lessons to the comfort of students' homes. We are driven by the joy of watching our students grow into expressive, confident musicians and can't wait to see what the future holds for Harmony Heights Music Academy.
As a guitar instructor, my primary responsibility is to teach individuals and small groups the fundamentals of guitar playing, including techniques, scales, chords, and music theory. I work closely with students of all ages and skill levels, preparing and delivering engaging, informative, and personalized guitar lessons. In addition to teaching guitar, I evaluate students' progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly. I communicate with students and their families to provide feedback, answer questions, and address concerns. I also maintain a clean and organized teaching space, including guitars, amplifiers, and other equipment. To stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, techniques, and trends in guitar playing and music education, I participate in professional development activities and attend workshops and conferences. I work collaboratively with my colleagues, contributing to team meetings, school-wide events, and initiatives as needed. Overall, my goal as a guitar instructor is to share my passion for music with others, help students achieve their musical goals, and inspire a lifelong love of learning and playing the guitar.
