My primary focus is working with international customers and bringing hardware and software solutions to the table, helping to create a complete solution for residential and commercial security, video and automation. As a Product Manager I also focus on leading, working with, and empowering Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Marketing, as well as Agile Testing teams to accomplish their goals through effective communication & coaching.
V&V Test Team Manager/Lead Engineer • Manages team of mobile and web app testers and functional analysts to verify and validate mobile/web apps produced for the Veterans Affairs Office of Information & Technology (VA OI&T). Analyze business requirements and technical specifications of apps to create and execute testing documentation. Work along side development teams using both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies. Strong focus on compliance related testing: Section 508, Human Factors, Usability, Functional, et al. Other responsibilities include but not limited to: code testing, PM activities, technical writing, testing/developing documentation for prototypes and production systems.
Mobile/web app tester, code tester, PM support, and technical writer on multiple Veterans Affairs contracts: Testing and documentation for prototypes and production systems. Facilitate meetings, documentation of. Extensive use of Atlassian’s JIRA and Confluence tools for maintaining testing documentation and scrum facilitation. Fluent in agile development methodologies.
