Production engineer Engineering & Manufacturing support Working to reduce/midigate non-conformance issues both internally and with outside vendors. Providing engineers with feedback from manufacturing and assisting with drawing changes in order to streamline the design to conception process. Recently orchestrated a meeting with manufacturing, engineering, buyers, planners, and outside vendors where we agreed in changing designs from a weldment to a forging. This allows us to re-allocate resources, meet timelines, reduce non-conformance issues, and save the company nearly $750,000 over the next two years.
Focused on satisfying our customer's (Methodist, Memorial Hermann, BenTaab) bio-hazard clean-up and removal needs. Monitored the quality and activity of sharps and bio-hazard containers, replacing them when necessary and worked closely with the environmental staff to ensure the overall effectiveness of our products.
