Responsible for all below wing service for Alaska and Horizon air. Follow all company policies and procedures to insure a safe work environment. Daily task includes, staging equipment in the gate area prior to aircraft arrival, marshalling aircraft to and from the gate, unload and load cargo from aircraft while maintaining proper weight and balance procedures to prevent aircraft tipping. I worked as part of a team to provide great customer service to travelers, which has earned Alaska and Horizon air J.D. Power awards for customer satisfaction and on-time performance.
I provided excellent customer service to prospective buyers by continuously gaining industry knowledge to better help with their questions on equipment or help decide which piece would help them achieve their fitness goals. Other tasks include, answering and returning phone calls, emails, preparing quotes, product demos, completing finance applications, maintaining proper product inventory, building items for the showroom floor. I would generate new leads by using social media platforms to place ads and target people outside our general marketing area. With my hard work and determination I was able to reach sales goals set by management month after month.
As Ramp service agents we are responsible for all below wing services. This includes marshalling aircrafts, loading and unloading aircrafts all while having safety as our number one goal. As crew chief I assign jobs to members of our team and make sure they know what is expected during a flight turn. As for myself, the Crew chief is responsible for scanning all bags into the correct compartments and assuring weight limits are not exceeded. My team and I strive to deliver great customer service and safe travels for all our passengers.
I joined Horizon Air in June 2012 as part as their Ramp service team. My daily duties included following company policy and procedures while working on the ramp. I assisted in loading and unloading aircraft, hooking up all necessary power supply and pushing aircraft out of the gates for on time departures. At Horizon Air it was our goal to deliver outstanding customer service to each and every passenger.
