As a molecular biology student at the University of Pittsburgh, I am passionate about exploring the molecular mechanisms and applications of life sciences. I graduate in April 2024 with a BS in Molecular Biology Biochemistry, and I have acquired multiple skills in Genomics, Genetics, Proteomics, Recombinant DNA, and Genetic Disease. I also contributed to several research projects on ecology, alternative antibiotics, Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, and polyoma virus DNA binding domains, working with a diverse and collaborative team of scientists and engineers. In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to work as a summer intern at IFF, a leading company in enzyme research for Advanced Biofuels, Pharma, Flavors, and Fragrances. There, I gained hands-on experience in bio-robotics process automation and alternative preservatives for industrial enzyme storage drastically decreasing screening time and improving consistency. I am eager to pursue a career in molecular biology, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact. I am always open to learning new things, exploring new challenges, and connecting with like-minded professionals. Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in collaborating or sharing opportunities.
