Robert has worked within the property and construction industry for over 30 years. Originally qualifying as a Chartered General Practice Surveyor in London. Over the past 15 years has developed his role within international consultancies managing multi-disciplinary design and investor teams, delivering complex high-quality learning environments including colleges, mainstream and special educational needs projects for both the private and public sectors. Robert’s strongest assets are his ability to balance the aspirations of projects with the commercial reality of budgets, timescales, and risk. Robert enthuses project and investor team relationships to develop and create exciting, sustainable, and commercially exemplar education projects.

Responsible for the technical design and construction delivery of the NAMI project, a multiple sports facility on behalf of the ADEC Group in Abu Dhabi. Due for completion in November 2020.
Managing the Design & Construction Management team within Shamal. Robert was responsible for strategic development of education and leisure projects for its global investors. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, providing design and construction advice to ensure development opportunities are co-ordinated to maximise financial performance for investors from inception to completion.
A strategic Project Management appointment Robert assembled an internal Project/Design Management team overseeing external multi-disciplinary design teams from RIBA Stage 0 to 7, delivering £500m of private and education sector projects.
