Leading a group of planning professionals in support of the Programme Managers and Project Leaders in the successfully delivery of their outcomes. This includes compliance with the central Programme Controls Function requirements to drive consistent and robust, planning and control around schedule, cost and risk management. The core components are to prepare and manage schedules, cost tracking and risk registers / requirements that help to plan, manage and track the programmes of work within the investment portfolio and to support the Project and Programme management Community through pro-active planning. Leading a team that will develop dependency plans incorporating key requirements such as Regulatory or Commitment dates, aligned associated cost using a standard integration tool or platform and risk mitigation measures. Training and transfer knowledge to colleagues, particularly Project Control staff.
Responsibility • Establishing and instigating detailed project controls plans and procedures in accordance with the company standards and client project requirements. • Developing and continuing the project progress reporting, including all financial and earned value reporting, in accordance with contract and business requirements. • Preparing project budgets and estimates. • Establishing and maintaining baseline budgets and cost plans, communicating status on an ongoing basis to project teams, clients and other third parties. • Implementing, monitoring and administering change control requirements including changes to project scope, budgets, contracts and schedule. • Capturing and monitoring data to ensure accurate and reliable plans, cost, schedule, contract, pricing and invoicing information is in place and accurately and promptly reported. • Developing and maintaining planned and actual cost and commitment schedules (including "S" curves) and earned value (EVM). • Reviewing, allocating and tracking invoices • Communicating project control needs and objectives to the company line managers and other project personnel. • Assisting the other member of the team with project reviews and QA/QC functions. • Supporting the senior project controls specialist in the administration of sub-consultant and third party contracts. • Interfacing and maintaining liaison with clients, subcontractors and others on all cost control related activities. • Ensuring consistent functionality of cost control reporting systems across a portfolio of the company's projects and office locations. • Supervising, training and developing other project control support staff (Workshop presentation) • Tendering rail work for Rail Project Victoria (RPV) and Naval Defence project controls (Adelaide) Software: • Microsoft Projects 2013 , Primavera P6 Professional 18

Lead the implementation of the agreed HAL Project controls standards to be adhered to by the appropriate contracted suppliers to support efficient project performance management in line with the Clients Employers requirements Provide oversight of Programme project controls team workload and assurance of their input into the Client Data Base (Primavera P6) Suppliers guidance to enable improvement in data quality, integration of their schedules changes regarding budgets.
