My family and I are currently living/working in Dubai on behalf of Midrex Technologies. My role here as Senior Manager for Plant Sales involves direct local participation in the steel industry so as to position Midrex Technolgies for success in the fast-paced environment of Direct Reduction Technology. As the world steel industry transitions to Green Steel production, the Midde East is uniquely positioned to be a world leader in sustainable iron and steel production, and it makes for an exciting time to be part of Midrex Technologies.
I develop and maintain key relationships within the Middle East steel industry for Midrex Technologies. A key function is to identify and develop worthwhile opportunities for new Midrex Direct Reduction plants within the region.
Responsible for Plant Sales and Aftermarket support of all Midrex Direct Reduction Plants throughout the Middle East region.
I work in all areas of marketing at Midrex Technologies.
Oversee strategic direction of all sales and marketing efforts for VidaRF, an electronics manufacture that designs and builds a broad range of RF/Microwave components for the wireless industry - serving both commercial and military customers. I work directly with engineers to determine, design, build, and successfully deliver components that meet the customer’s requirements and exceed their expectations. Responsible for all new business.
Source One is a leading provider of reporting and management software to the residential and commercial building inspection industry.; Combined knowledge of Inspection industry with service business sales experience to carry innovative inspection reporting and management system to market in a highly competitive reporting software climate. Created and maintained a three phase marketing plan that included a constant trade show presence, weekly software demos to state and local inspection industry organizations, and grass roots style meetings with individual inspectors at their offices and in the field. On the road approximately 70% of the time. Set appointments with prospective clients and then led monthly day long seminars designed to highlight the benefits of the Source One software suite. Maintained a close rate of better than 40% from seminars. In 2007, recognized an opportunity to gain national exposure for the Source One software products through W.W. Granger (Professional Equipment – the largest provider of Inspection equipment in the U.S.) Initiated contact, negotiated, and closed a deal with WW Grainger to feature Source One software in full page ads in the P.E. catalogue and website – a deal that is still in place today. Wrote, produced, and directed a series of 12 training videos in order to offer web based training to new customers on how to take full advantage of their Source One software suite. Created and led a day long training seminar for existing Source One software users that was designed to increase per inspection earnings by increasing on-site efficiency. Initially, the seminar was twice a year, then once a quarter due to demand, and finally, once a month.
Home Analysis Technical Service (HATS) is a residential and commercial building inspection company.; Created and delivered an ongoing series of weekly, topical presentations to Realtor offices across 8 counties. Designed, implemented, and maintained a monthly direct mail and walk-in cold calling campaign to keep HATS top of mind for Real Estate agent prospects. Increased inspection contracts from less than 400 per year to over 1,100 Performed more than 2000 fee paid home inspections.
