I have been with I&J for many years and pride myself in joining companies for the long haul rather than quick gains. My previous employment history a tests to this fact. During my time at I&J I have held various senior management positions from Aquaculture Commercial Manager to business development manager and now presently as Business Insights Manager, I established and head up the business Intelligence unit at the I&J Trawling Division. Here I am able to apply my analytical ability and science base, to assist the business to make fact based decisions, using objective data analysis as the primary guide to decision making. The goal is to use a rational and fair minded process rather than one coloured by conventional and personal biases. A secondary function which I am still responsible due to my previous job description is that of Biosecurity of the I&J Abalone Farm and Manager in charge of Fishmeal Production at Trawlers. Both these divisions are highly successful business units.
