Since beginning my career with Marion County Fire Rescue in 2001, I have advanced to my current role as Deputy Chief, drawing upon a comprehensive foundation in fire fighting and emergency medical services, incident management, and disaster response. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration, which has strengthened my ability to develop effective policies, lead strategic initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency across our department. Beyond my role in administration, I also serve as an adjunct Fire Science and Paramedic Instructor at the College of Central Florida, where I am deeply committed to mentoring and equipping the next generation of first responders. I am passionate about instilling a strong, practical understanding of EMS and response techniques, aiming to inspire and prepare future paramedics for real-world challenges. My responsibilities also extend to our HazMat team, where I leverage specialized skills in hazardous materials management to ensure our community's preparedness and safety in diverse emergency situations. With over two decades of experience across EMS, instructional leadership, and specialized response, I am dedicated to protecting our community through policy development, disaster preparedness, and comprehensive incident management strategies
