(KSOR) Formerly CIO for High Speed 2 (HS2) delivering the Strategy and turn round of IT Services and a similar transition for a UK Retail Challenger Bank. Major career assignments include the full transition and EMEA IT Strategy for a large Japanese Investment Bank servicing some 22 countries, as well as CIO assignments for Jones Lang LaSalle EMEA region, UK Policing and UAE Ministry of Interior. Other major transition clients include Transport for London (TfL), supporting the BA/Iberia merger and Scandinavian Air Services. Previous business & ICT transformations include advising on merged Infrastructure Services for RBS/Nat West, integrated environments for National Australia Bank and the ICT merger for 12 Police forces & agencies into the single National Authority SPSA. Most recently working for 2i at board level, Robert was instrumental in leading and winning business to triple the company size, leading their Delivery Teams to the strategic goal of being the largest UK independent provider of Quality Assurance test and automation services. Today he provides digital advisory services to client CxO's and teams to tackle, execute and successfully deliver their transition programmes and delivery portfolios. Working with client organisations on their Transition and AI Transformation Strategies he ensures they ‘keep the show on the road’, maintaining current services to deliver a safe and certain assurance as they transition to new target operating & systems models. An experienced leader and consultant his roles included work within retail, finance, utilities and criminal justice sectors. During this time he led on extensive transformation engagements as well as assignments advising on global IT outsourcing arrangements. These engagements incorporated transforming IT and digital services across diverse communities, geographically extending across 35 countries. Role & Clients Robert led PwC Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Client Engagement teams, providing advice and guidance to CXO's and Transformation Teams to tackle and execute large scale transformation programmes. He does this whilst ensuring client organisations 'keep the show on the road', running and maintaining current services and ensuring a safe transition to their new target operating model. Past Clients include Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Rothschild, Jones Lang LaSalle, BA & Iberia, NPIA-Home Office,Transport for London and Ministry of Interior UAE. Notably during this time with PwC, I was appointed interim CIO EMEA Region for Jones Lang LaSalle from Apr 2012 - Mar 2013. This was a full turn-round on EMEA IT Services and Operating Model for Jones Lang LaSalle reporting to the EMEA CFO and Board. This role and challenge incorporated ICT services across some 35 countries in the region.

    Worked with Scottish Police services as Director for ICT for all eight forces in Scotland, SCDEA, Scottish Police College, SCRO and SPIS. This culminated in the Government changing the legislation to take this into the SPSA as a service and appointing Robert as CIO for SPSA servicing some 25,000 Police and support services personnel across Scotland.
