About

Passionate about bridging cultures through language, writing, and creativity, I began my academic journey in general linguistics before discovering my love for the Japanese language. This passion led me to immerse myself in its study, both independently and through university courses, ultimately fostering my ambition to work in translation and cross-cultural communication. Over the years, I’ve developed a range of skills centered around Japanese-English interaction. From freelance translation projects to article writing and creative endeavors, I’ve consistently sought opportunities to refine my craft. My Substack showcases articles on topics I’m deeply passionate about, ranging from Japanese culture to creative storytelling, music, and video games. I also write novels as a creative outlet, blending my linguistic background with my love for narrative. During my time in Japan, I embraced every chance to grow professionally and personally. I worked with college students to improve their English skills, engaged in language exchange programs, and even began translating for friends and personal projects. These experiences deepened my understanding of the nuances between Japanese and English, strengthening my ability to adapt to different contexts and audiences. With my combined experience in translation, content writing, and creative projects, I aim to bridge the gap between cultures and inspire others to connect with Japanese language and culture as deeply as I do. My typing speed is top tier for both speed and accuracy. I can reach 90+WPM with an accuracy of 97%. If I slow down to 80WPM, I can easily stay at 100% accuracy.

My role in the school was to teach kids age 2 to 12. Because this school is an international school, there were kids of many backgrounds and from various countries whom I had to teach. All lessons were taught in English but were not necessarily about English language specifically. We covered various subjects on an pre-school, kindergarten, and elementary level and instructed them in English to help the developing kids learn not just English but other subjects that are typical of that age range. 学校での私の役割は、2 歳から 12 歳までの子供たちを教えることでした。 すべてのレッスンは英語で行われましたが、必ずしも英語に関するものではありませんでした。幼稚園や小学校レベルのさまざまな科目を教えるし、英語で教えていて、発達中の子供たちが英語だけでなく、その年齢層に典型的な他の科目を学ぶのができました。
