Currently serves as Manager of Crane Operations at Georgia Ports Authority. Responsible for management and scheduling of 33 cranes and over 180 personnel. Supervises and ensures safety and production, management of all facets of budget and personnel management as well as all day to day operations of the Crane Department. Prior maritime experience includes service as a Vessel Superintendent for Ceres Marine Terminals, responsible for safe loading and unloading of container ships and Roll-on/Roll-off vessels. Also responsible for accountability and accurate tracking of all containers and commodities loaded and unloaded on all vessels. Oversaw labor force ranging from 20 personnel to 108 personnel depending on vessel. Performed stowage and vessel layout of assigned cargo to ensure safe loading and conditions for all vessels worked. Well versed in NAVIS, SPARCS, Express and other common maritime systems. Previously, was a Senior Maintenance Supervisor and Military Veteran of 23 years with a comprehensive background in maintenance operations, inspections, diagnostics, disassembly, system repair and assembly, quality control, safety, and hazardous materials management. Have also served as Operations Manager for a US Army Battalion of 7 subordinate companies consisting of over 1,100 people.
General Manager of Ship-to-Shore Crane Operations at Georgia Ports Authority. Oversees operation and production of 34 Ship to Shore cranes and 2 Mobile Harbor Cranes with 8 additional cranes expected to be added in the future. Manages Department of 190+ personnel.
Advises the Organization Director on all personnel related matters and training strategies for an organization of over 1,082 personnel and their families. Mentors personnel on career advancement, education, and training opportunities. Assists in management of all current and future medical requirements, legal actions, Human Resources actions, Plans and Operations for the organization.
Plans and manages current and future operations for a Combat Sustainment Support Battalion of 1082 Soldiers. Assigns tasks and manages priorities for 7 companies of Soldiers including a Transportation Company, a Fuel Distribution company, an Ammunition Distribution company, a Supply company, a Movement Control Team and a Maintenance Company. Coordinates all staff section functions including human resources, intelligence, operations, supply, plans, and communications.
Oversees all personnel, administration, and workload for a 136 Soldier Forward Support Company that provides all fuel and ammunition distribution for an Apache helicopter Battalion. Also oversees all ground vehicle fleet maintenance including over 158 trucks, 76 trailers, and 35 pieces of power generation equipment. Monitors and processes all human resource transactions including annual evaluation reports, employee development, awards, personnel files, daily workload assignments.
