Currently serves as Manager of Crane Operations at Georgia Ports Authority. Responsible for management and scheduling of 33 cranes and over 180 personnel. Supervises and ensures safety and production, management of all facets of budget and personnel management as well as all day to day operations of the Crane Department. Primarily interested in performing challenging and fulfilling work and helping others, along with my company, achieve their absolute best. Prior maritime experience includes service as a Vessel Superintendent for Ceres Marine Terminals, responsible for safe loading and unloading of container ships and Roll-on/Roll-off vessels. Oversaw labor force ranging from 20 personnel to 108 personnel depending on vessel. Performed stowage and vessel layout of assigned cargo to ensure safe loading and conditions for all vessels worked. Well versed in NAVIS, SPARCS, Express and other common maritime systems. Previously, was a Senior Maintenance Supervisor and Military Veteran of 23 years with a comprehensive background in maintenance operations, inspections, diagnostics, disassembly, system repair and assembly, quality control, safety, and hazardous materials management. Have also served as Operations Manager for a US Army Battalion of 7 subordinate companies consisting of over 1,100 people.
