I am a Geographer and Geospatial Intelligence professional with 18+ years of experience working at the intersection of geospatial technology, subsurface geology, and engineering. A big part of how I approach problems is by reframing systems. I enjoy looking at complex or fragmented spatial environments and finding ways to unlock the value hidden inside them. My work focuses on turning data into practical spatial frameworks that help technical teams better understand complex operational systems and make more informed decisions. Most recently I have been leading several 3D GIS initiatives supporting reservoir management and production in deepwater basins. These efforts explore how modern geospatial workflows can improve spatial reasoning, collaboration, and situational awareness across multidisciplinary teams. Over the past few years I have also embraced AI assisted research and UX focused prompt engineering as tools to accelerate learning and experimentation in advanced spatial analysis. This experience has reinforced something I have always believed: curiosity and experimentation can expand what is possible surprisingly fast, even for seasoned professionals. A major focus of my work has been implementing the Esri Atlas Instant App as a spatial knowledge portal that supports enterprise wide data discovery and collaboration across the Gulf of Mexico. By positioning Atlas as a central geospatial platform, I have helped enable easier access to authoritative maps and data, establish secure sharing across multiple organizations, and implement automated data governance workflows. The goal has been simple: make spatial data easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to use. Technically I work extensively with Esri software, Python, and advanced spatial analysis. At the same time, I believe the real value of GIS comes from designing systems that match how people actually think and make decisions. My passion is helping organizations move beyond simply storing spatial data and toward using spatial thinking as a strategic capability. If you are interested in talking about 3D GIS, enterprise spatial platforms, Atlas implementations, or the evolving role of AI in geospatial work, I would enjoy connecting.
Provide geomatics and geospatial support to exploration, subsurface, and engineering teams across Shell assets in the Gulf of Mexico and previously Argentina. My work spans spatial analysis, geodetic governance, remote sensing, enterprise GIS platforms, and the development of geospatial workflows that support reservoir understanding and operational decision making. In Argentina I served as the geomatics lead supporting unconventional exploration programs. Responsibilities included survey coordination for exploration and development wells, coordinate management and validation, geodetic quality control, logistics route management and spatial analysis supporting field development planning and infrastructure layout. I worked closely with geologists, engineers, safety experts and operations teams to ensure spatial data integrity and reliable coordinate frameworks across exploration activities. In the Gulf of Mexico my work has focused on integrating GIS with subsurface and engineering workflows, developing spatial analysis methods that help teams evaluate wellbore relationships, reservoir structure, operational constraints and commercial forecasting. Some of my selected Initiatives: • Waterflood 3D - Developed a 3D GIS workflow for evaluating spatial relationships between injection and production wells, helping teams better understand reservoir connectivity and operational interactions. • Atlas Enterprise Data Discovery Platform - Implemented the ESRI Atlas Instant App as a geospatial knowledge portal improving discovery of authoritative maps and datasets across Gulf of Mexico teams. ESRI Case Study: https://www.esri.com/en-us/lg/industry/natural-resources/stories/onegulf-atlas-gis-access-collaboration • Shallow Aquifer Survey & Spatial Analysis - Led a geospatial and remote sensing study mapping shallow aquifer extents using L-band radar datasets and field observations to support permanent infrastructure siting and environmental planning.
