About

I have experience in a variety of different coding frameworks through my coursework at the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked with popular backend languages such as Python, Java, and C, as well as frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also worked with databases using PostgreSQL. as well as source control with GitHub. My experience as an English Literature Minor gives me a unique lens to look at problem solving through and ease communicating with people outside of the Computer Science industry. During my time at Carnegie Mellon as a Research Assistant, I developed my skills in the robotics field. I implemented various solutions using Computer Vision in Python and C++. I also trained numerous Object Detection Models using Ultralytics YOLO models. I love working in collaborative settings. I am at my best when bouncing ideas off others in my field and consider myself to be easy to work with. I enjoy helping others when they need assistance and am not afraid to field constructive criticism in order to improve my work. I love learning new things and am open to whatever is needed of me in any work environment.

Continuously develop an e-waste recycling robot to assist in the dismantling of televisions and hard drives. This included: - Training object detection models using YOLOv8 and YOLOv10 - Optimizing the machine's movements to meet specific time-based criteria - Compiling and labeling diverse datasets for artificial intelligence training - Using computer vision to complete various tasks based on camera feed
