As the incumbent Chief Hospitalist at St. Camillus Medical Center (SCMC), I recruit, screen, and supervise the pool of hospitalists who go on 24-hour duties at the emergency room, ward/general floors, and intensive care unit. I also attend to some other administrative functions, provide assistance to the various department heads under the Medical Division, and report directly to the ER Coordinator, Chief of Clinics, and the Medical Director. I have more than 11 years of experience as a resident physician at SCMC, where I have honed my skills in emergency medicine, intensive care medicine, and general medicine, providing quality and compassionate care to adult, obstetric and gynecologic, surgical, and pediatric patients. I am also a board-certified Diplomate Specialist in Occupational Medicine (DPCOM) and a Trainer in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) , with certifications from both the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and my medical specialty society, the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine, Inc. (PCOM). Thus, I can design effective and top-tier occupational health (OH) policies, programs, and trainings for your companies and organizations. I am also a Department of Health-Coded HIV Counselor and trained Community-Based HIV Screening (CBS) Motivaror, with a passion for improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV (PLHIV). I have completed multiple training courses and certificates in occupational health and safety, HIV primary care, TB DOTS, public health, health research, and health communication. I currently serve as an in-house HIV primary care consultant at Courage Care Inc., a CBO that provides comprehensive HIV and STI services. I also have health research training and write articles on various health topics for various publications and platforms. Contact me and let's collaborate! Bless your hearts!
