Robert Edelmann, LL.M (ADR) A seasoned conflict management professional with public, private and international experience and a proven record of innovation and leadership. ------------------- Robert has been a professional in conflict management since 1996. He is an experienced organisational ombudsman, mediator, facilitator, trainer, consultant and program leader. Robert was the Ombudsman and Director of the Office of the Ombudsperson and Mediation Services with the World Health Organisation (Geneva), the Chief of Mediation with the United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services (New York) and also acted in the interim role of Regional Ombudsman for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to his international postings, Robert was Director of Informal Conflict Management with Parks Canada, a Mediator with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and a community mediator and mediator and consultant in private practice. He has been active in developing dialogue models to support global discussions on civility and racism in the workplace, and has integrated games into his training.
