I used to have problems with holding a steady job, and was let go several times when the economy was bad. It would worry me and create great anxiety and loss of sleep. There came a point in my life when I was let go again. It felt like a huge raincloud came and rested over my head, ready to dump worries on me. I told myself that if God is real, then I must hold onto God's promises. "Am I ready to stand on, or trust, the word of God?", I asked? The book of Matthew says "Seek first the kingdom of God and everything will be provided for you." So, I let go of my fears and worries, and decided to trust in the word of God despite my circumstances. And I was given a new job soon after! Having Jesus in my life brings me so much peace and joy, because I know He cares for me! We all are born, work our jobs, we live, then we die. What is the meaning of this life? Could there be some purpose? Yes! We are given the chance to get it right. You see, we all have made mistakes. We all have our own issues. Yet, God sent his son Jesus to offer us a new life. On the cross, he gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins so we could have a relationship with God. When we receive Jesus, He creates in us a new nature, and we get a chance at living a new life! We give our old selves to him, and receive His love, peace, and joy. If you would like to receive Jesus, please say this prayer in your heart: Lord Jesus, please come into my heart. Forgive me of my sins. I receive you as Lord and Savior of my life. Make me a new creation. I want to follow you all of my days. Thank you so much Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
