I am a researcher in the field of distributed simulation software, with knowledge in both mechanical engineering and software development. During my PhD I focused mostly on coupled and multi-threaded simulations of fluid power systems. My research project was carried out in close colaboration between industry and academia. After my disertation I have been working with simulation tools for contact mechanics and asynchronous methods for co-simulation. I have a strong interest in the transmission line element method (TLM) and the functional mock-up interface standard (FMI). My work has included both numerical methods for simulation and development of user-friendly graphical interfaces. Besides doing research I also enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with people around me. Specialties: System simulation, fluid power, mechatronics, co-simulation, model exchange, multi-threaded software
