Robert A. Braun is a Partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson focusing on litigation. Mr. Braun has successfully represented an array of commercial clients including airlines, airports, and individuals across a spectrum of litigation matters including major losses, general aviation, passenger injury, contractual disputes, product liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage cases. Mr. Braun is licensed in Illinois, Texas and Wisconsin and has tried 31 trials to verdict while representing clients across the country. In addition to litigation Mr. Braun is a speaker regarding complex and products liability litigation including the collection and preservation of evidence and the use of expert witnesses at trial. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Braun served as an active-duty JAG officer in the United States Air Force where he served as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. During his five years of active duty service, Mr. Braun was appointed as the attorney-advisor to several Aircraft Major Mishap Accident Investigation Boards and defended pilots before Flying Evaluation Boards. Prior to his military service, Mr. Braun completed a federal clerkship with the Honorable J. P. Stadtmueller, Chief Judge in the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
