I am currently the Rail Planning and Operations Lead at Hatch South Africa and am registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng in industrial engineer. I have 19 years of industry experience, and have worked both in banking performing process improvement projects and developing models for resource staffing, as well as in logistics - rail, road and mining projects. My experience is broad in a wide range of areas such as: business process efficiency, staffing, logistics channel configuration, master plan development, rail infrastructure design and operations, capacity analysis, simulation modelling, rolling stock evaluations, materials handling equipment and project management. My expertise lies in the upfront project development phases from concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility stages, business case development and due dilligence. In addition, I have worked on developing capital and operating estimates, risk analysis, execution planning and scheduling, and value engineering. I have worked predominantly from South Africa, however my work engagements have been global and have travelled to numerous parts of the world. My qualifications: BSc Industrial Engineering 2003, from the University of the Witwatersrand General Diploma in Engineering (GDE), 2006, from the University of the Witwatersrand Project Management Professional accreditation (PMP), 2010, from the Project Management Institute (PMI) Pr Eng Industrial Engineering, 2016, with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) Financial modelling FCI - currently studying and planning to complete in 2023
