• Develops, oversees, and leads the ongoing execution of all NBCU creative talent development programs for both scripted and unscripted, such as the NBC TV Writers Program, NBCU LAUNCH TV Directors Program, New Mexico Directors Initiative, and Unscripted Producers Initiative. • Collaborates with NBC, Peacock, NBCU cable networks, and Universal Studio Group creative executives and external producers on staffing recommendations for writers and directors, as well as recommendations for consultants on various projects. • Provides content assessment from an Inclusion perspective on casting breakdowns, scripts, and rough cuts for both scripted and unscripted across all parts of the business. • Works with external organizations and partners to develop strategic partnerships that promote inclusion. • Participates in presentations and panel discussions that amplify the team’s and NBCU’s Inclusion-related programs and initiatives.
• Develop non-scripted entertainment and lifestyle concepts/formats for the VOX Media brands (e.g., VOX, New York Magazine, Eater, Curbed, The Cut, Vulture, etc.) to be pitched to broadcast/cable networks and streamers. • Create decks and oversee sizzle reels for newly developed concepts.
• Develop original, non-scripted concepts and identify new talent to be pitched to the Discovery/Scripps networks (e.g., Discovery, TLC, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Investigation Discovery, etc.), as well as external networks. • Write treatments and oversee sizzle reels for newly developed concepts.
• Develop show concepts around the Meredith brands (i.e., People, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, Parents, Real Simple, Southern Living, Food & Wine, Travel+Leisure) to pitch to linear networks and digital platforms. • Sold TV projects to ABC, Paramount Network, TNT, GSN, Lifetime, Investigation Discovery, AHC, OWN, CMT, Food Network, and Animal Planet. • Liaise with the Meredith editorial teams across all brands to identify talent and develop original show ideas.
