Welcome to my LinkedIn page! I am an upbeat Digital Cinema Technician with a passion for producing and handling media content. I specialize in digital cinema content packaging as well as content management services with clients of all sizes. I have worked with clients from large studios to independent filmmakers to service their individual project needs. The joy of being a part of the production and distribution process on various titles has filled me with great joy and passion for this field and my future in it! Additionally I studied Film at the University of Oregon, where I developed a strong background and appreciation for film history that continues with my work today. • Transfer content received from HDD and LTO to the appropriate storage • Download content from Aspera/Signiant links and AWS S3 (Cloud) storage with a focus on prioritizing file movements based on due dates. • Collaborate with Vault Staff on shipping/receiving all client assets • Work with Master QC Department to facilitate creation of TIFF projects, patch fixes, Atmos, ProTools set ups, Transkoder, etc.
The Mastering department is responsible for the creation of any/all digital cinema packages for major Hollywood studios per specific client needs. • DCP creation using Clipster and associated software to verify and create metadata (ex. Cipher) • Processing and validating DCPs (SMPTE/IOP) for 100% accuracy for delivery to both major studio clients and independent clients • Communicated with Project Managers regarding various video/audio issues, specifying issues and recommend fixes to be made. • Linux terminal command line operations
The Data Operations department is responsible for the secure transfer of all data entering or leaving the Mastering department and also responsible for maintaining the Storage Area Network, and for archiving all created Digital Cinema Package content. • Digital file receipt, ingest, and delivery with Aspera and secure client hosted storage. • Delivery and work order processing, tracking, and research • Performed archive and extraction of content from/to physical media including LTO, LTFS, DVD, USB and CRU drives • Monitored publishing tools, SAN storage capacities, and archive solutions • Communicated with Project Managers regarding various ingest/data management issues, specifying issues and recommend fixes to be made • Linux terminal command line operations
• Assisted editors with editorial duties including organizing B-Roll, transcribing films, editing rough edits, etc. • Edited various promotional spots for approval • Worked on major titles from Walt Disney Studios (including Black Panther & Peter Pan)
• Edited content to be shown on-air • Maintained digital library of content from national sources (ex. ABC, CNN, etc.) • Handled organization and engineering responsibilities with master control operators • Dealt with time-management and pressure (deadlines) • Trained additional video editors for various shifts
