Currently leading the uplift and formalisation of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) capability across QRO Fines & SPER, supporting strategic alignment, governance of change, and sustainable technology transformation in a highly regulated government environment. In this role, I am responsible for designing and embedding a scalable, standards-based EA practice, including the establishment of an Enterprise Architecture Centre of Excellence (CoE). This includes defining the enterprise governance framework, EA metamodel, operating model, and reusable architecture assets to support both business and ICT decision-making. Key focus: Coaching and mentoring architects and stakeholders, and translating complex architecture concepts into clear, actionable insights for executives and delivery teams. Refining and implementing the QRO Enterprise Architecture metamodel, standards, conventions, templates, and reporting across ARIS, Power BI, Confluence, and Jira Establishing and operationalising EA governance and compliance processes to guide business and technology change Designing capability maps, process models, and technology landscapes that accurately reflect the “as-built” enterprise Defining custodianship and ownership models for architecture artefacts to ensure accountability and currency Developing and maintaining a strategic EA roadmap to uplift architecture maturity over time Building and embedding an Enterprise Architecture Centre of Excellence (CoE), including governance, ways of working, and knowledge transfer This role sits at the intersection of strategy, governance, and delivery, working closely with business leaders, solution architects, SMEs, and delivery teams to ensure change initiatives align with QRO’s strategic objectives and Queensland Government architecture standards.
