I oversee all aspects of the theater including an on going maintenance of the facility and its equipment, setup and take down for all events (Plays, music concerts, dance performances, assemblies, Admin. meetings,..etc.), supervise the storage of props, costumes and scenery. The maintenance and creation of the annual budget for the theater. Work with close collaboration with the Performing Arts Department members. Also, to maintain an on going, conflict free calendar of theater bookings, serve on the School Activities Committee to create every year's school events calendar and supervise the theater staff. During those 8 years, I helped produce and put on stage more than 40 shows/performances: plays, musicals, dance recitals, band concerts, choir concerts, the ISTA Festival, EMAC Festival, Egypt Day Festival, Model of the United Nations (MUN Conferences) and more. I was the Thespian Society director/sponsor from 2007 until 2010 and during that time, I helped produce a complete student led production of an original play written by 2 of the High School Students. As a manager to the theater, I helped enhancing the technical advancement of the theater facility by purchasing and budgeting for the state of the art sound and light equipment, such as wireless mics, new semi digital sound & light boards, new risers and platforms, new workshop equipment & tools to help with the general operation of the theater and also to help advance the level of the stagecraft classes offered to Middle & High school students. In addition to this, I also helped with the WWW (Week Without Walls) program and I was a chaperon for the trip to the White Desert, in the Western Desert of Egypt for a week with the High school students. Example of plays/musicals produced: 1) The BFG 2) A Midsummer Night's Rockin' Eve (Musical) 3) Jesus Christ Superstar (the concert) 4) The Newsies (Musical) 5) Charlotte's Web 6) Blood Brothers (Musical) 7) Grease (Musical) 8) A Chorus Line (Musical)
