Function: Process Automation Manager (Packaging & Specialty Plastics (P&SP) Aligned) at TES Role: Execute projects and provide direct process automation support to the plants (Dowlex and Dowlex miniplant) in Terneuzen and over the Globe. Responsibilities (projects): - May 2020 till present – Process Automation Manager (lead for TGN3) for the Dowlex and Dowlex miniplant o Mod 5 migration project to ABB system 800xA for ▪ (1) Dowlex Tnz train 1 and 2 ▪ (2) Spain Tarragona train 3 (as PA lead) ▪ (3) Thailand MapTaPhut train 1 (will be finalized end 2026); o Focus areas: Ethylene compressors, Raw material Purification Beds, Raw material Area, 3rd Party integration to controller and/ or Topserver, but also general system related topics and general units o Continuous support - November 2016 till May 2020 – Process Automation Engineer for the Mod 5 migration project for LHC –Tarragona, focus; Raw-Gas Compressor, LOPA-SRS-IPL focal point and AC&O focal point. - January 2016 till March 2017 – Business Aligned Process Automation lead for LHC business in Terneuzen. - - January 2016 till March 2017 - Execute projects for the LHC plant. Preparing projects for TA2017; working on the compressor parts - January 2015 till December 2015 – Business Aligned Process Automation lead for Site Logistics in Terneuzen. - July 2014 till May 2016 - Execute projects and give direct software support to the EO plant. Lead for executing projects and for TA2016
Function: Maintenance Engineer Instrumentation for Zone B Role: Give direct support to the plants in zone B as maintenance engineer (instrumentation). Responsibilities: Give supporting to the instrument technicians in their daily work and to all the plants in zone B (Polyurethane, EO, Amines, LDPE, Dowlex, Marine, SLHC, Power and R&D). Work on projects. Some examples of the projects: - Alarm reduction project for the polyurethane plant - Optimizing PPM Scheduled Services for Regulatory and LPP compliance Participate in different teams inside and outside Dow, to leverage and exchange of experience.
Function: Maintenance Engineer Instrumentation at Maintenance Services and Solutions (MS&S) Role: Give support to the four Maintenance Faculty Teams and to all the plants as maintenance engineer (instrumentation). Responsibilities: Identifying and implementing improvement / innovation projects for maintenance. Some examples: - Improvement project “improve schedule services in the maintenance tracking system”. - Standard procedures for instrumentation to complete compliance tasks - Improvement project “Proof-test (seat leakage test for valves)-improvement Project”. Participate in different teams inside and outside Dow, to leverage and exchange of experience.
