I am a motivated self driven professional in the fresh fruit and vegetable industry. I owned Niedhamer Produce for 20 years, which was a very successful thriving wholesale produce distribution business in SW Ohio. I am extremely motivated to succeed and excel in all that touches my life. People skills have been a big part of my success and building out teams that carry responsibilities and accountability have been a strong point throughout my career. I have vast experience in produce purchasing, food chain movement, cold chain management, inventory control, turnover, transportation and food safety. Developing protocols, policies and procedures and seeing that they are carried out are the every day norm. I work well with my piers and have played a huge roll in the development of company personnel and success of the company.
Purchased a wholesale produce company 1998 (Niedhamer Produce) Grew business and built a facility in 1990. Experienced major growth and became a reconginzed name throughout SW Ohio. .. Decided to merge companies with Mush and Sons in 1998 to form ProduceOne. Sold all interest in 2001. Currently I am the senior VP of purchasing for ProduceOne
I managed the produce department, then supervised the second location and became the produce buyer for both locations. Departed in 1978 to buy my own company Niedhamer Produce
