• Applied knowledge of steels, polymers, and composites to updating and correcting a pipe selection technical note. • Reduced costs at pumping stations where I queried valves and pressure tappings that I noticed were unintentional redundancies. • Presented for 30 minutes in a multidisciplinary project coordination meeting to explain my pipe layout work and justify my design decisions. • Corrected a calculation sheet that use inaccurate chlorine decay models and double counted the original dose. • Noticed and flagged that a diverging and converging duct were treated the same way in a network analysis despite completely different pressure losses properties due to boundary layer effects.
• Investigated the differences between two overheating standards and their underlying research. Presented to the Building Services team and answered questions about their practical application. • Produced Excel macros and a workflow that turned a 4-6hr data entry job into a semi automated process taking 15 minutes. • Produced a naming convention and spreadsheet for duct sizing calculations so changes in fine ducts could easily be accounted for in the main ducts.
