I have gained significant experience in Mechanical, Construction and Piping working on Oil and Gas Producing Installations, FPSO’s, Modules and Oil Refineries has enabled me to undertake significant positions of responsibility in Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Dubai, Singapore and the UK, which together ensured the effective leadership and management of project organisation, high level planning and delivery to client specification. Principle duties of project management involved the overseeing of the installation of new plant, vessels and exchangers of which related to mechanical and construction equipment and all relevant pipework on site, whilst adhering to legislation governing the industry such as H&S, Risk Assessment, “Permit to Work and JSA System”. As part of a core team on each project, I was responsible for presenting progress reports and updates on all ongoing and future maintenance, construction and piping projects; both verbally and in writing and liaising directly with key colleagues and project management. I convened and chaired daily meetings with trade supervisors to discuss work in progress, work programmes and projects, offering advice on the planning and carrying out of the preventative maintenance programme to ensure all equipment adhered to and met specifications; thus assisting the smooth operation of the project. As project supervisor I was also responsible for organising and planning third party projects, dealing directly with the vendors and company representatives. I have over twenty years experience in Mechanical / Construction work in Offshore Oil and Gas Producing Installations, FPSO’s, Modules and Refinery work onshore. I have experience in the supervision of Mechanical and Construction teams and related trades.
