I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering on May 16, 2015. I successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam - Mechanical and am registered as a Professional Engineer Intern in Illinois. I graduated with a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in December 2023. I recently started as a Hydrogen Cryogenic Engineer at Bosch Rexroth in Santa Ana, California.
I Assisted owners of systems at JPL that contain fluids under positive or vacuum pressure conform to NASA, CGA, DOT, and ASME pressure safety requirements. • Created, reviewed, and approved AutoCAD P&ID drawings • Performed engineering analysis of the components within the systems such as regulators, valves, pressure gauges, flow meters, and relief devices to make sure that the system is protected from experiencing pressures or temperatures outside the ratings of each individual component • Reviewed NDE inspection and pressure test reports for systems and components • Performed risk and life assessments for pressure systems • Verified relief device flow capacity meets safety requirements for each system
I was an online student and completed my MSME degree with Purdue University in December 2023.
I assisted in the design and manufacturing of Coil Wound Cryogenic Heat Exchangers for on-site production of Liquid Natural Gas. • Used existing Microsoft Excel templates to evaluate preliminary designs from CAD models and determine required thicknesses for parts in the vessels based on ASME standards • Used COMPRESS modeling software in order to create preliminary shell, nozzle, and head information based on process conditions • Traveled on a trip to a customer LNG plant to provide technical and safety assistance to craftsmen performing maintenance and repair work on an existing exchanger
Central Headquarters in Allentown, PA • Global Engineering and Manufacturing (GEM) Department - Warm Design Group • Created and reviewed Autopipe models of piping for stress analysis of plant piping designs • Verified piping and support designs based on stress, load, and flange analysis • Created mechanical specifications for relief valves based on process specifications • Determined sizing for inlet and outlet piping of relief valves based on inlet loss and backpressure calculations
HyCO Plant in Port Arthur, TX • Maintenance Department • Organized projects to repair or replace machinery at HyCO and CO2 plants • Contacted contractors to schedule projects and communicated tasks that need to be completed • Researched parts and ensured that proper engineering standards were followed for any plant changes • Created and implemented any Management of Changes (MOCs) that were needed for new projects or plant changes • Worked in SAP in order to process notifications from operators as well as purchase orders for projects and repairs
I received my diploma for a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering on May 16, 2015. Link to senior design video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSt3dIEY4mE
