I am a hydrologist and water resources expert, with over 30 years of experience in water resources planning and analysis from all around the world, where I have collaborated with numerous water resources institutions and private companies acting both as project manager and as a team member. Over the years I have been responsible for implementation of many decision support systems for water resources management and reservoir operations for authorities as well as for the hydropower and irrigation sectors. Many projects have dealt with water resources planning and management in complex basins, multi-sector competition for water and conjunctive use of groundwater and surface water. I’m a very skilled mathematical modeler with a broad experience in the transfer of technology including numerous training courses for counterpart staff, lecturing advanced water resources courses at master’s level and advisory of PHD students.
