About

Aloha! I combine neuroscience, law, research, and LLMs to turn complex information into usable tools, workflows, intelligence products, and decision infrastructure. I am a JD candidate at Northeastern University School of Law and hold an MS in Anatomy & Neurobiology from Boston University School of Medicine. My experience spans legal research and drafting, contract review and redlining, FDA/DEA and research-regulatory environments, technology transfer, AI-policy analysis, journalism, education, and 0 to 1 systems development. My work includes: • Legal and regulatory intelligence: translating statutes, regulations, cases, scientific evidence, and market developments into memos, trackers, taxonomies, databases, risk frameworks, and decision tools. • AI implementation and legal engineering: designing AI-assisted research systems, structured prompt architectures, agentic workflows, automation pipelines, knowledge infrastructure, API-integrated tools, and local or hosted LLM systems. • Research, writing, and education: producing rigorous, accessible work on AI governance, neuroscience, cannabis, psychedelics, emerging technologies, and the institutions shaping how people understand and use them. • Nervous-system-aware governance and design: developing frameworks for technologies, institutions, environments, and decision systems that account for human attention, cognition, stress, trust, adaptation, and accessibility. I am often most useful when the problem is important but not yet neatly defined—when someone needs to investigate an emerging field, identify the hidden structure, build the underlying research or operating system, and translate it into something people can actually use. I care deeply about treating rigor and accessibility as the same goal. A claim should be sourced, and it should be readable. A system can be technically impressive, but if people cannot understand it, trust it, or use it, that is a design problem. I welcome conversations with founders, legal teams, researchers, institutions, publications, and regulated-industry organizations building AI systems, legal or regulatory tools, research platforms, governance frameworks, or entirely new categories. Let’s build together!

Experience

  • Staff Writer at Fat Nugs Magazine
    Feb 2026 - Present · 6 mos

Staff writer and author of the "Ask A Neuroscientist" series, translating cannabinoid and psychedelic neuroscience for a broad readership. I research peer-reviewed literature and write evidence-based pieces on the endocannabinoid system, psychedelic mechanisms, sleep, grief, and set and setting, pairing rigorous science with clinical relevance.

  • Advanced Legislative Scorer (AISLE Project) at Brown University
    Jan 2026 - Present · 7 mos

Advanced legislative scorer for a national AI-governance research initiative at Brown University's Center for Technological Responsibility. I analyze state and federal artificial intelligence bills, review statutory language and enforcement mechanisms, and code and summarize legislative proposals using structured evaluation criteria for comparative policy research.

  • Law Clerk at Antithesis Law
    Oct 2025 - Present · 10 mos

Law clerk focused on psychedelics/controlled-substances law; emerging tech law. I conduct trademark analyses, draft contracts, conduct legal research and draft research memos and client facing-briefs; conducted a policy architecture review for a global psychedelic legalization tracker and drafted a governance methodology memo with standardized category definitions and update protocols.

  • Law Clerk at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP
    Sep 2025 - Present · 11 mos

Law clerk supporting insurance coverage, intellectual property, and commercial litigation matters. I analyze federal and state law, review and index litigation documents, prepare line-item deposition digests tied to case theories, and draft case-law summaries and memoranda on statutory and regulatory frameworks.

  • Sherwood Design (3 yrs 2 mos)
    • AI & LLM Technologist
      Jan 2025 - Present · 1 yr 7 mos

I design and ship large language model (LLM) systems and AI workflows for organizations in regulated and high-stakes fields. My work spans AI strategy and adoption, prompt architecture, retrieval and automation, and custom intelligence dashboards that track regulatory and market signals in real time. I build around how people actually learn, trust, and use tools, drawing on behavioral science, neuroscience-informed communication, and governance so AI gets adopted and used. Engagements include AI verticals, AI workflow development, AI agents, automation & orchestration tooling, bespoke intelligence builds, AI content systems, and competitive and regulatory monitoring, deployed end to end.

    • Academic Program Developer
      Jun 2024 - Present · 2 yrs 2 mos

I design, implement, and review programs and curricula for higher-education institutions and organizations across my full range of fields: health and medical education, law and regulation, AI and technology, neuroscience and behavioral science, psychedelic and cannabis science, biophilic design and neuroarchitecture, and science communication. I build course frameworks, learning objectives, and assessments, and run market research and feasibility analysis for new programs. If your team needs interdisciplinary curriculum or training built around how people actually learn, I can help.

    • Neuroscience Specialist
      Jun 2023 - Present · 3 yrs 2 mos

I provide consultation at the intersection of brain health, behavior, design, technology, and policy. I advise on psilocybin- and MDMA-assisted therapy research, evidence-based biophilic design and neuroarchitecture, cannabis and cannabinoid science, planetary and environmental health, applied behavioral science for adoption and communication, and the neuroscience behind AI, branding, and governance. Clinician, firm, founder, designer, or policymaker, I can translate the science into something useful for your work.
