Robert M. Yawson, Ph.D., is a Professor of Management and the Chair of the Entrepreneurship, International Business & Strategy (EIBS) Department at the School of Business, Quinnipiac University, CT. He is the William S. Perlroth Endowed Professor of Business. He is also the Faculty Coordinator for the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership Program. Robert is the recipient of the prestigious Center for Excellence in Teaching Award in 2018. He was named the 2018 Faculty Scholar of the Year, and the recipient of the 2020 James Marshall Award for Service. Robert is also an affiliate faculty in the PhD in Leadership and Organizational Studies program at the University of Southern Maine. He is also a part-time faculty at the School of Business, Providence College, RI. Robert has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. He also has a BS in Biochemistry with Chemistry, and an MPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Food Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Robert is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Organization Management Journal, Editor of the Business and Management Section, SAGE Open, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Business and Systems Research. From January 2019 - December 2021, he served as an Associate Editor of the Human Resource Development Quarterly. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of the following leading journals: Human Resource Development Review, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Advances in Developing Human Resources, and Industrial and Commercial Training. Robert has over 145 publications, including peer-reviewed papers in leading academic journals. His current research is on social finance, impact investment, leadership, strategic management, team development, human resource development, talent strategy, and using the "wicked problem construct" for leading organizational effectiveness and change; and using a systems approach to human resource development for emerging technologies. Organization Management Journal (OMJ) is a blind peer-reviewed online publication sponsored by the Eastern Academy of Management and Southwest Academy of Management.
