• Worked to develop BD’s next generation of diabetes products. • Managed the team that completed the human factors and usability study for FDA 510k submission. • Characterized insertion mechanics of needle and catheter. • Developed new and updated existing test protocol relating to needle and catheter insertion. • Assisted with design verification activities.
• Developed a novel framework for the patient journey. • Enabled Shire, via the patient journey framework, to identify opportunity and gaps in the treatment of various illnesses. • Analyzed and interpreted Shire’s internal resource data relating to two different drug development programs.
• Revitalized the spinal kinematics testing program. • Performed cyclic spinal compression test, and analyzed data to investigate lumbar cage subsidence. • Validated image based fracture prediction software. • Re-authored kinematic analysis code with updated algorithms and GUI in MATLAB. • Supervised summer students, both Bachelors and Masters level.
