Product Engagement Lead at Agile Business Consortium

Steeple Ashton, England, United Kingdom

About

My career has tracked the evolution of business agility. In the mid 1980s, following graduation in computer and micro processor systems, I was introduced to operational research and early business process re-engineering concepts, using modeling to investigate potential solutions to complex problems. Working in early computer-aided software engineering processes and tools in the 1990s, and then rapid application development tools, I engaged with the founder members of DSDM, and worked on projects in insurance and communications that sought to introduce concepts of iterative development and early, frequent end user delivery to increase to speed of value delivery to the business. Further experience of product development and projects in banking, publishing and defence/security sectors, I spent 10 years as a product manager in the automotive and communications sectors, applying latest concepts of business agility. My experience has significant global reach, covering North American-based software companies, with customers throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, engaging teams in India and the Far East. Outside of work I am passionate about ecology, social justice and health and fitness. I have completed two self-build house constructions with high ecological credentials. I view education and life-long learning as the key to social justice, encouraging engagement and collaboration as the key to personal and social growth

We provide relevant and engaging interactions across all touchpoints on the automotive consumer's path to purchase and throughout their ownership experience. As owner of the unified communications product strategy, my goal has been to enable dealerships to offer the consumer the finest communications experience across voice, messaging and social channels. Key to achieving this has been the development of strong relationships with innovators and thought leaders in the industry, and translating vision into competitive advantage for dealerships. Introduced a communications platform as a service (CPaaS) to simplify service delivery and commencing employment of artificial intelligence to augment and in many cases replace manual communications to deliver 24-7 communications options in formats that the consumer desires, to improve responsiveness to any enquiry, in this fiercely competitive market. Our solutions have combined our own developments with leveraging technologies from Cisco/Broadsoft and its community of technology providers, resulting in the UC products becoming the rising star of the Keyloop product portfolio in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
