I am one of the four officers of Pak Army qualified on rare technology i.e MSc Gun System Design from Cranfield University (United Kingdom) directly interlinked with industrial design for weapons / ammunition and the only officer qualified on Tank T-80UD from Ukraine for one and a half year. I have carried out number of projects of national and international level related to armament and ammunition design. Based on my qualification / experience, I was deputed by Pak Army to various foreign assignments:- Ukraine 02 years in Malyshev Plant Ukraine as Quality Assurance Team Leader and monitored production process alongwith formulation of Acceptance Test Parameters in conjunction with Ukranian reps and designers for equipment inducted / procured for Pakistan Army. USA Visited USA as a Technical Team Leader for inspection / induction of equipment alongwith USA reps and formulated / finalized scope of work for intimate repair / maintenance and after sale services. Russia, France, China & Turkey Visited for procurement / inspection of components / parts required for manufacturing of equipment. • UAE, Malysia, Thiland, South Africa &UK Participated in various international exhibitions to establish a stall and interacted with world renowned OEMs for commercial / marketing purpose. Based on my experience and qualification, i performed duty as officiating brigadier on Basic Pay scale 20 tenable by a brigadier for 06 years and was also deputed by Pakistan Army on various assignments with senior delegations to many countries. • Represented Heavy Industries Taxila in the various Standing Committee Meetings of the Senate and National Assembly and Public account committee. • Official Spokesman of Heavy Industries Taxila in various National and International Media during the Exhibitions. • Being Director Marketing and Procurement formulated /prepared number of JV agreements /contracts /MoUs signed on behalf of Heavy Industries Taxila.
I have vast experience of repair maintenance and overhaul of military equipment. I have served in inspectorate of Armament and instructor in college of electrical and mechanical engineering NUST. In addition to this i have monitored the manufacturing of Tank Al Khalid / enhanced capacity of the manufacturing by up gradation of CNC machines, installation of automatic robotics for welding and carried out design and development of the lightest B 7 level armored security vehicle in the world for Pak Army and established bullet proof vehicles / jackets manufacturing assembly line. I have an huge experience of inspection, procurement and marketing. i have served in various countries like 2 years in Ukraine in Tank T-80 UD manufacturing factory, 1 and a half month in USA at main Military Authority for SP M-109 A5 Gun, including turkey, china, france, russia, South africa on various assignments related to procurement, inspection and international marketing. • Attended various exhibitions held in country and abroad in various countries by establishment of Heavy Industries Taxila pavilion and earned business of approximately 20 Mn US$ in a year. • Approximately 3.5 Bn in LC and 23 Mn US$ in FC per anum was handled independently. • Based on production experience, evaluated the indenting requirement, thus reduce the procurement cost which resulted in to cost effective finished product. With tenacity negotiation skills, managed and executed contracts upto 291 Mn US Dollars.
• Served as Commanding Officer (CO) of 2 Corps Multan. • Responsible for administrative and technical training of personnel’s including Procurement, repair / maintenance of the electrical / mechanical hardware held by the various organizations of the corps including induction of manpower, Security of personnel / organization and all under command technical outfits. • Regular / Periodic inspection of the formation equipments to ensure preventive maintenance. • Advisor to the Corps Commander on all technical matters alongwith close coordination’s with various brigade headquarters.
I was posted in Mechanical Engg Department as Second in Command and was responsible for teaching / design of curriculum related to weapon and ammunition design aspects for the students of Pakistan army and allied countries.
I was posted to an organisation responsible for inspection, defect investigation, technical evaluation of equipment procured from abroad and development of equipment indiginously. I visited many countries like China, Ukraine, Turkmanistan and Turkey for inspection. In addition to this, i was the first officer who visited USA for inspection / procurement of SP M109 A5 Guns for Pakistan and Prepared a detailed scope of repair plan for Pakistan Army in conjunction with USA military reps. I carried out the induction trials of Tank Al Khalid, Al Zarrar, T-85 and defect investigation of 130 MM Howitzer and 105 MM Ammunition and life cycle test of first indigionously developed tank gun and recommended remedial measures for improvements.
I was responsible for Repair, Maintenance, Overhauling, inspection and procurement of related parts from national / international market of all types of vehicles, engineering equipment and machinery held with the units of a corps.
