I am a fifth year medical student, at University College London, who has a keen interest in clinical research, medical technology and AI. I have completed an iBSc in Medical Sciences with Management (Honours), from Imperial College Business School, where I was part of several research projects, including a qualitative study investigating the challenges of integrating AI into primary care. I am a keen, ambitious student, and have held multiple positions of responsibility in my university, and this year I am the Chair of UCL Gastroenterology and Hepatology Society. I have also collated several years of tutoring and mentoring experience, as part of tutoring companies, but private tutoring as well
As part of this role, I am responsible for the committee for this society. We plan to run a 3 month teaching series, including in person teaching sessions. We also intend to collaborate with other universities to create a collaborative in person conference.
I have over six years of experience as a private tutor, delivering personalised online teaching across a range of levels, including primary education, 11+ entrance exams, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I have also supported aspiring medical students with applications, providing guidance on academic preparation and the admissions process. I specialise in adapting my teaching style to suit individual learning needs, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, and building students’ confidence in both subject knowledge and exam technique. Alongside academic instruction, I focus on developing effective study habits, time management, and structured approaches to exams. I have extensive experience planning and delivering high-quality remote lessons, independently managing my schedule and maintaining strong communication with students and parents. Feedback has consistently highlighted my ability to create engaging sessions, improve academic performance, and foster a supportive and motivating learning environment.
I tutored in A Level Biology, UCAT, BMAT and interview preparation for aspiring medical students. During my employment, I gained over 100 hours tutoring online.
