I am an IT & Digitalization leader (CIO / CDO track) with a background as Managing Director of an IT & software company and as Director IT / Head of IT in logistics, supply chain and industry. My core areas are IT strategy, digital transformation, enterprise applications, logistics IT and IT finance. I have spent my career at the intersection of IT and logistics/industry. I have built and led IT organisations, developed IT strategies and delivered large transformation programmes in warehouse, transport and production logistics – in Germany, across Europe and internationally. In my most recent role I served as Managing Director of CAL Consult GmbH, the software and IT service provider for warehouse and transport solutions of the Nagel Group. In 2025 I additionally took over the “Integrated Solutions” area in Group IT, responsible for enterprise applications, EDI and IT finance. My focus is to turn complex, grown IT landscapes into clear, scalable platforms: with standardised but flexible IT solutions, robust processes and a close alignment with operations and management. CAL Consult is the software and IT services provider for warehouse, transport and logistics solutions within the Nagel Group. • P&L responsibility for an IT and software business in the double-digit million EUR revenue range and a team of around 150 employees (development, projects, support, operations) • Further development of the product and platform strategy for WMS/TMS solutions in line with group strategy (e.g. CALsuite WM/TM) • Introduction of template and release concepts for warehouse and transport management including demand, change and release management • Strengthening project and portfolio management to ensure predictable rollouts and enhancements for sites and customers • Part of Group IT leadership and close collaboration with operations and sales to support new business and digital services • In 2025 additionally took over the Integrated Solutions area in Group IT (enterprise applications, EDI, IT finance)
Built and led the newly created “Business Applications” department within Group IT of an international family-owned FMCG company. • Responsible for ERP, supply chain, CRM and other business-critical applications • Developed the applications strategy as part of a programme to harmonise business processes and the ERP landscape • Introduced and enhanced IT service management processes (ITIL-oriented) • Improved project quality and transparency through common methods and governance
Responsible for IT in the EMEA region of an international automotive supplier. • Developed and executed the EMEA IT strategy (Aftermarket & OE) • Built, led and developed an EMEA IT team (approx. 40 people) • Professionalised IT services and transparency towards management and business functions • Introduced an information security management system based on TISAX • Harmonised the regional infrastructure landscape and improved demand and change management
