Professional Summary I’m someone who works hard and genuinely cares about doing things right. I aim to deliver the best possible result, in the best possible time. Creativity is at the heart of what I do. I enjoy stepping into new ideas, sounds, and song structures, but I also value clean, simple production and the power of a solid pop record. I’m always looking to grow. I don’t believe in staying stagnant, and I never want to stop learning. I stay open to feedback, new perspectives, and ways to improve. My motto is simple: you’re never too old to learn, and never too proud to listen. That mindset has carried me through a lot and continues to shape how I approach both life and work. ⸻ Testimony Everything I’ve been able to do—every opportunity, every blessing—I don’t take credit for. It hasn’t all been easy, but through the highs and lows, God has always been with me. I’ve seen it firsthand. In the moments I’ve needed Him the most, He’s shown up in powerful ways. That’s something I’ll never stop being thankful for. I’ve learned that we’re all here for a purpose, and our time is short. I want to live in a way that reflects love, humility, and service to something bigger than myself. Whether it’s through music, relationships, or any creative work, my hope is that it points back to that purpose. This page just shows a piece of my journey—some of the work I’ve done, some moments I’m thankful for—but it’s not the full picture. If anything here resonates with you, I’d be honored to connect. Thanks for reading and being part of the journey. “My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.” – Psalm 108:1
Over the past 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of pursuing a wide range of solo projects that reflect my passion for creativity and personal expression through music. Throughout this time, I’ve independently released 20 albums, exploring various musical styles with the goal of continual artistic growth. My work is available on all streaming platforms including CD Baby and ITunes. In addition to my solo efforts, I’ve been honored to contribute as a musician and collaborator on a diverse range of recording projects in Nashville. Some of these include working with well-respected artists and producers such as: • Newsong • Charlie Peacock (Sparrow Records) • Nicole C. Mullen (Word Records) • Troy Johnson (Word Records) • A previously unreleased Elton John track • Nirva Ready • Todd Agnew • Essra Mohawk • Rebecca St. James • Avalon • Point of Grace • Scott Krippayne (Sparrow Records) • Andy Denton • Carl Herrgesell • OverFlow • Soraya • Allyson Taylor Band • Linda Reagan • Kathleen Lague • Blake Hensley • Joni Wilson • Austin Tyler Meade • Julee Levine • Cheryl Johnston • Various independent artists with Skipping Disc Records Each of these experiences has shaped my journey as both an artist and a collaborator. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to projects across a wide musical spectrum and to continually grow within this ever-evolving industry.
Producer / Engineer / Session player / Writer, Artist / Video maker
After moving to Tennessee, all my initial connections fell through. With no steady work, I jumped into the local music scene—hitting every jam night I could, sitting in, and meeting people. That led to an introduction to Margaret Becker. I wasn’t familiar with Contemporary Christian Music, but I auditioned and was later told they hadn’t called because they assumed I wouldn’t be interested due to my résumé. I told them the truth: I loved the music and wanted to be part of it. That “yes” opened a door I didn’t see coming. I toured with Margaret Becker, Out of the Grey, and Susan Ashton—sometimes coming back to no home, staying in motels or on couches between shows. When the band got cut mid-tour, things got tough again. Then Charlie Peacock hired me to play and later signed me to his Rethink label. That led to tours with DC Talk (Jesus Freak), then Michael W. Smith (I’ll Lead You Home). I was later recommended for Shania Twain’s tour by Tommy Sims, but respectfully declined to focus on family. I stayed local, ran Spinnrecording Studios, produced, gigged, taught, and even did two seasons on the Al Denson Show—all while supporting my wife’s business and raising a family. I eventually returned to touring with Clay Crosse, CeCe Winans, and Rachel Lampa while attending nursing school. A short-term call from Newsong turned into a long-term role, leading to work with Mark Schultz, Natalie Grant, Jason Castro, Chris Sligh, Danny Gokey, and others. Through all the ups and downs, I’ve seen God’s hand clearly. He showed up when I was ready to give up. Looking back, I see it wasn’t just about building a career—it was about becoming who I was meant to be.
Live Performances
Once had a security job at Miraleste high school & ran detention class after school for the students when was younger between touring, would finish the day by doing office work for the rest of the day while playing gigs at night. In 1989 I was heard by a guy named Devon Ricky, who was hanging out in the Manhattan Beach clubs where I was playing and asked me if I would like to audition for a Pop Star Michael Damian, who had a few number 1's on the charts and was on The Young & The Restless, a turning point in life. From there, I worked with him touring, recording on his records, and for his brothers production company (Weir Brothers Studio) in North Hollywood doing session work as well as appearing on The Young & The Restless for 5 years with the band & playing on various TV shows. They were like family! I would also take cold reading workshop acting classes up on Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood in a old theater once a week for about 8 months during some of that period. So while all my accounts were starting to wind down from writing, recording, and touring, I was playing at Prince's club Grand Slam downtown on the weekends in the VIP room. Played some with the Joe and Bruce Sudano band, husband of Donna Summers (Joe Esposito) One night while the LA riots had hit the city, we finished playing around 4:00 am & some of us went to the manager's place nearby & hung out on the rooftop to be safe & overlook the streets. Everyone had their guns out & were protecting their property & lives. It was like the Wild Wild West or something as I remember saying to myself, "I believe it is time to get the heck out of this crazy place" (I do love LA, just not some of the craziness it had) which takes me to a whole new direction in life after moving to the south, Nashville, TN..............
