Experienced Broadcast Electronics Technician seeking new opportunity.
Field incoming Service request calls from customers to determine nature of difficulty with teleprompter monitors, talent monitors, software modules, scroll controls, motorized stands, & clock/tally accessories. >> Attempt to rectify problem via phone, without need for returning equipment for service, or >> Issue Returned Material Authorization number when problem cannot be corrected via phone >> Inspect incoming items requiring service, then generate and e-mail repair estimate. >> Perform board / wiring / harness replacements, soldering, cleaning, settings adjustments, and testing. >> Perform HD/SDI upgrades on teleprompter monitors. >> Generate shipment orders and submit completed work order for invoicing. Generate wiring schematics manuals and equipment installation procedures. Train key customers – by appointment -- on teleprompter assembly and operation. Travel to assist key customers with on-site teleprompter system operation (ex. US Tennis Open) Participate in set-up, exhibition, and breakdown of trade show booths Travel to deliver critical items to key NY broadcaster accounts. Assist warehouse manager when high shipment volume requires.
