Responsible for communicating and coordinating internally and externally on MJ’s aviation planning interests on a national level. This role serves as a company-wide resource for aviation industry activity, trends, along with demand changes and communicates and translate this insight into strategic actions.
Responsible for project management of a wide variety of airport planning projects for both commercial service and general aviation airports. Planning projects place a strong emphasis is placed on innovative concepts and dynamic planning to enhance the strength of the aviation system for airports throughout the Northeast. Additionally, incorporating NEPA requirements into the planning process to enhance the overall sustainability and fesiblity of projects and recommendations. * Strategically develop integrated solutions that build towards long term goals * Engage stakeholder groups of all sizes and compositions regarding complex airport related issues * Conduct assessment of statewide airport employment for economic benefits study * Identify practical and achievable sustainable initiatives for airport projects * Integrate NEPA elements into planning to streamline project implementation * Develop prudent projections of aviation demand and identify demand triggers * Create dynamic development concepts to optimize airport flexibility * Determine financial feasibility, strategies, and funding sources for airport projects Key Projects Include: Buffalo Niagara International Airport, New York – Sustainable Master Plan; Elmira Corning Regional Airport, New York – Dynamic Master Plan; New York State Department of Transportation– Statewide Benefits of Aviation Study; Trenton-Mercer Airport Master Plan; Wilmington/New Castle Airport Master Plan.
