Design and develop the Kempinski Email environment and its various extensions ( gateway security, backups, archiving and retention, mobile messaging etc.) for Kempinski’s 65 worldwide hotels. Outsourced project work at Merck - Serono, Geneva Switzerland Employed by Alltitude S.A. as an IT Consultant at Merck-Serono. As part of a Hewlett-Packard led migration team, provide IT support and advice for a large Novell-Microsoft migration project. Plan, design, and implement detailed migration procedures from Netware 6.5 file and print services to MS Active directory on a Windows 2003 clustered server environment (designed and provided by HP). Migration involves move of 18 TB data, +1200 user accounts, +500 groups, and 1500 desktop pc’s and laptops to production Merck-Serono Active directory tree.
Employed by Qiminfo S.A. as a consultant at United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC). Responsibilities included management of outsourced project work for World Meteorological Organization (WMO). Project work included move of WMO local server backups to UNICC mainframe via dedicated link. Prepared proposal for move of WMO local network applications to (VM) virtual servers hosted at UNICC. Performed general network and server audit. Provided 2nd level Network (Novell/Windows) and Email (GroupWise) support at WMO as required. Implemented Novell NW6.5 test environment at UNICC datacenter. Installed and standardized network monitoring software (Tripwire ) on ICC server farm. Assist with ongoing project work (Windows 2003,VMWARE) with UNICC colleagues.
