I am passionate about healthcare but in particular about helping patients and this is a guiding principle in everything I do at #tevapharm. In my role I help focus our amazing team in Europe on how we can best provide value to patients, the healthcare systems that serve them and our customers across our diverse range of therapeutic areas and portfolio. I am particularly interested in digital transformation in general and in our industry and the power of data to help drive better healthcare outcomes. I am also lucky to be married to a fantastic partner (who is a Pharmacist) and we have two daughters we are very proud of, trying to be the best husband and Dad I can be as well
As part of the Executive Management team leading all activities of Teva's European Innovative, Biosimilar, Generic, and OTC businesses (total approx. $5.5b revenues) and as franchise leader of Teva's global Generic business. With headquarters in The Netherlands, Teva Europe employs approximately 12,000 people in the region and covers 36 countries, including the 26 European Union member states, Teva is Europe’s biggest provider of tried-and-trusted generic medicine, a leading provider of Over the Counter (OTC) medicines as well as being a recognised innovator in CNS, respiratory medicines and biopharmaceuticals. Every minute of every day approximately 2,500 Teva packs are dispensed in the EU. Teva Europe estimates saving some €8 billion each year from Europe’s healthcare budget by supplying cost-effective treatments.
Leading all facets of the $40 billion Actavis-Teva integration (the largest and most complex ever merger & acquisition and carve out project in the generic pharmaceutical industry) including planning, closing and hypercare processes. Delivered smooth structural and process integration with a fully operating “carved in” business on Day 1 minimising TSA requirements whilst maximising (multi $B) synergies
