About

Richa Gupta is an educator turned social entrepreneur. She is the Co-Founder & CEO of Labhya Foundation, a globally recognized Indian education-focused nonprofit that impacts over 2.4 Million vulnerable children. During her journey, she has worked with education non-profits like Teach For India and Teach For All and served as a teacher for almost a decade. Additionally, she was the Country Ambassador (India) to the 10th (Girls)20 Summit in Japan. She has been recognized by the Takeda Foundation as the ‘Best Entrepreneur 2019’. Richa was also listed as the Women's Forum Rising Talent 2020. She has been recognized by Asian Venture Philanthropy Network as one of the Top 10 Youth Impact Leaders in Asia. Richa received her Master's in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she also served as an Equity & Inclusion Fellow, Harvard Ministerial Leadership Fellow, and Education Entrepreneurship fellow. Currently, Richa also serves on the board of UNICEF India, and on the Steering Committee of Karanga: The Global Alliance for Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills.
