      Currently I am leading the management team of Soho House Barcelona, whilst I am actively supporting the General Managers of Little Beach House in Garraf, Soho House Paris and Soho House Rome with their daily operations and financial targets. In this role I am responsible for our brand positioning and building creative communities In Italy, Spain and Portugal. Since February 2022, I am working on the development of our new Houses in Lisbon, Madrid and Milan. Between July 2021 and February 2022, I have played an active role in the pre-opening phase of Soho House Rome.

Prior to the opening of the House in October 2016, I was responsible for the space planning and OS&E of the various outlets. Over the past years, my team and I have positioned the House among the top luxury hotels of Barcelona and Cecconi's is one of the locals favourite restaurants in town. The Members Club has become the venue for a diverse group of creative souls and their friends. Stein Hotels & Resorts was re-branded to Franklyn Hotels & Resorts back in February 2009.

      In May 2005 my team and I opened The College Hotel, a fully integrated training platform for the hospitality industry. 18 months earlier I had tuned up with the ROC Hotel School of Amsterdam to bring education and lifestyle hotel experiences under one roof. My aim was to bring future hospitality professionals on stage, in an environment of high standards and discerned guests, whilst being educated and guided by experienced hotel professionals. Today the hotel is being ranked among the very best of Amsterdam, and provides daily training for students from various European Hotel Management schools.

Hempel drew her design inspiration from Amsterdam's historic Dutch East India Company to bring warmth, color and life to Holland´s very first boutique hotel. ´East meets West ´in an elegant ambience with attentive genuine guest service and exquisite food. In early 2004, when it changed ownership, the hotel was re-branded under my leadership as Dylan Amsterdam.
