• Responsible for the set-up of a new digital marketing hub for the consumer health business with a focus on revitalising brand growth driven by digital and omni-channel strategies and execution (Nizoral, Zoflora, Covonia, Cetraben, Flexitol etc.) • Led the relaunch of 11 websites, including SEO/GEO, launch of PPC search campaigns for the first time, social / influencer initiatives on TikTok / Meta, eCommerce and rapid content generation with the creation of a bespoke in-house design studio • Adopted and integrated new ways of work with generative AI, including image and video into brand communication, using tools such as Chat GPT, Freepic, Artlist and Amazon AI
• Global healthcare company with a portfolio of OTC, supplements, cosmetics and Rx brands • Started global eCommerce Business Unit for Alliance Pharma with full P&L responsibility, representing 1/3 of group net sales. The ambition is to grow global eCommerce to 50% of group sales by 2029. • Developed organic/paid search, on-platform ads, SEO, and social media plans to accelerate online sales trajectory and launched KPI dashboards to communicate and optimise global performance. • Launched China Cross Border eCommerce business in August 2021 with £22m annual sales and 52% market share for Kelo-Cote • Focus on optimising large eCommerce markets such as the U.K. and USA to achieve growth in excess of 30% and expanding global online marketplaces (Amazon, Tmall, JD, Lazada, and Shopee) into mainland Europe, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brazil, etc. • Led centre of excellence activity to upskill the organisation in digital marketing / eCommerce. • Strong knowledge of China CBEC and domestic eCommerce ecosystem: B2C and B2B (Tmall, JD, PDD, Douyin etc.) as well as HK/offline trading channel. • Winner of the John Dawson Award (Alliance founder) for best company initiative 2021 for the China CBEC launch.
• Alliance Pharmaceuticals is a Global healthcare company with a portfolio of OTC, supplements, cosmetics and RX brands • Set up of global marketing function at Alliance Pharma (e.g. Kelo-Cote for scars, Nizoral for scalp care, Amberen for menopause, MacuShield for eye health), achieving 50% growth in Kelo-Cote and MacuShield. •Developed and implemented comprehensive marketing strategies for the portfolio of brands, including insight development, positioning, NPD, and creative. •Worked closely with the R&D team to develop NPD pipeline and roll out plans for Star Brand Portfolio, including Kelo-Cote and MacuShield. •Organisational development, brand development, and value creation, with a focus on Europe, APAC including China and the USA. •Significant focus on healthcare professional and distributor campaigns to support consumer activation campaigns. •Developed and successfully launched marketing excellence initiatives, including digital excellence and strategic brand planning.
• Affiliate of Nestlé group focused on dermatological products (now listed on Swiss Stock Exchange as Galderma Group SA) • Building the sales and marketing processes and capabilities of the Nestlé skin health (Galderma) organisation globally to significantly increase the scope and scale of its business and focus on the dynamic consumer and health professional dermatology market. • Working closely with Nestlé HQ (Nespresso, Digital Acceleration Team) to align capabilities, processes and tools in the consumer, prescription and aesthetic BU's in marketing excellence (BBNW (Building Brands the Nestlé Way) and digital/eCommerce/Omnichannel acceleration). Worked closely with the Nespresso and Purina eCommerce team on best practice. • Responsible for the design, deployment and embedding of sales excellence and marketing excellence global projects including territory manager selling skills, digital marketing, Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) and annual and strategic 5 year Brand Planning (ABP), marketing fundamentals (Building Brands the Nestlé Way (BBNW), marketing resource optimisation, sales force excellence (SFE), Key Account Management (KAM) with major markets such as the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, U.K., Germany, China, Korea, Australia.
• Specialist start-up nicotine development company and a trailblazer in creating the vaping category. • Led the development and commercialisation of the e-cigarette product portfolio with a remit to deliver significant smoker appeal, but with fewer health risks than tobacco. • Developed brand Voke, which gained MHRA approval in September 2014, but was unable to overcome manufacturing challenges due to technical issues. • Responsible for the full marketing mix, including brand identity, positioning, packaging, advertising, media, healthcare engagement plan, and regulatory engagement (MHRA, FDA, etc.).
